(ic) The South Rubi-Ka Society is a gentleman's (and ladies!) club founded on the principles of good fellowship and civic duty. We are a non-political, civilian organisation. Typically members join the Society as a means of giving something back to the community while at the same time enhancing their own social life. The Society's activities consist primarily of sponsoring a number of Omni registered charities and organising a range of cultural, educational and fundraising events.
The South Rubi-Ka Society also runs it's own detective agency. The primary focus of the agency is protection of the Society's members, systems and property, but they are availalbe for private casework too.
(ooc) South Rubi-Ka Society is a roleplaying guild. All our members are roleplayers, we are not much good at anything else.
Our primary aim is to provide a sustained roleplaying environment for our members. We do this by running regular table top style adventures and assorted roleplaying events. Despite the overall air of respectability surrounding the Society, more often than not these adventures conspire to drag our characters into more dangerous and unsavoury territories, exploring such topics as drugs, corruption and land speculation, murder, pornography and of course clandestine leet fighting.
The Society has been together around since November 2001. For a small guild we've accomplished a lot particularly in terms of original, imaginative roleplaying events. These projects however take a lot of time and effort and as such we are always looking for a friendly, creative, roleplayers to join our ranks.
So whether you are a roleplayer looking ways to express yourself beyond hunting, parties and Omni-Clan rhetoric, or table-top GM looking for a team to help translate your ideas into action, I hope you will consider the South Rubi-Ka Society.
