Gridstream's DJ Otori arrested by Omni-Pol

Reets Retreat -- OTPC -- Representatives of the Omni-Pol Organization claim that they had received permission from the ICC to arrest a popular DJ of GridStream Productions, named Otori, for allegedly broadcasting illegally over the grid.
In a statement given by Lomad, of Omni-Pol, “Orders came from Omni-Com to charge and detain one Kirk 'Otori' Barchus for illegally broadcasting over the grid. As Reets is outside of Omni-Pol jurisdiction, we had to clear the action with the ICC. The arrest was sanctioned by ICC, and our orders came from Omni-Com.”
Otori was detained and escorted by Omni-Pol to a neutral prison in Borealis. When asked more about who at ICC had approved this arrest, the Omni-Pol Representatives could not give a name, stating that "it is not protocol to exchange names. The technician stated that the Officer of the Watch gave his approval."
Nexeus, of GridStreams Productions made the following personal statements regarding the arrest, “Based on all of the information that I have gathered at the current moment, I feel that this arrest is a heinous action and unjustified on the part of Omni-Tek and the ICC. I feel that this arrest should not have happened based on unsecured claims and non-factual information.” He went on to say, “I will request from Omni-Pol that the safety and well being of DJ Otori is taken into consideration while he is in their custody. At the current moment I am not aware of any bail, or way to release DJ Otori out, but from what I understand, DJ Otori is NOT being treated in a humane manner. I would request that any real reason be brought to GridStream Productions for this arrest.”
As most everyone on Rubi-Ka knows, GridStream Productions is a clan organization that operates on neutral territory. There have been no official statements from Omni-Com or ICC stating that their broadcasts are illegal in any way. All claims that ICC has approved this arrest are uncertain at this time as well. However, there is rumor that Otori was pressured to make statements about Gridstream being involved in the recent CoT reformation activity. So the motives behind this detainment may be more than what it seems.
It should be noted that Omni-Pol is a privately ran Organization, but apart of the Omni-Tek Corporation. As such, actions taken by them may not always have the approval of the Omni-Tek administration itself or other governing bodies.
