The story of Prince "Morphex" Olveda

The year is 29398. Prince Olveda, a trader from a small country called Norway, on a small planet called Tellus, moves to Rubi-Ka to seek fortune and fame. His real name is John-Erling Holmenes Fredriksen, but this was never a very good name for his stores. The civil war is just over and he settles in a small outpost near the mine at Newland where he puts up his little shop. He makes a living trading goods, shipped in from mother earth by his cousin Jonas.

In 29402 he meets the love of his life, Florence Matt, a beautiful opifex girl that lives in Newland. He moves to Newland and sets up a new shop there. Two years later they get married. Their first and only son, Odd, is named after Prince's father.

The Olveda-family is happy in Newland, but things are heating up again on Rubi-Ka. In may 29418, Sol Banking Corporation lands mechanised troops and war-machines on Rubi-Ka. Their objective is to seize control of Omni-Tek's notum operations. In an assault on Newland, Prince Olveda is killed. His wife and son escapes through the unfinished subway system. They settle at the Rhinomen camp where Prince Olveda had many friends.

Odd Olveda is quickly growing up, and he soon turns out to be a little wiz at fixing stuff. He makes all kinds of tools, and some of the older Rhinomen are very excited by this bright young man. They treat him like a part of the family, and teach him everything he needs to know to be a very skilled Engineer.

In 29426, two years after the terrorist attack on Mars, he moves away from his aging mother and the Rhinomen, seeking employment. He is employed by Omni-Tek to reconstruct some of the mines that were destroyed in the attack that killed his father, but he still remains neutral. Rubi-Ka is in desperate need of good engineers, and Odd makes a good living on it.

28 years later, at the age of 40 he meets a nanomage girl, Ginny Shorts. Together they have two sons. The oldest one is called Prince "Morphex" Olveda, after his father, and his younger brother is called Dominick "Voffen" Olveda. Both Prince and Dominick are classified as opifexes even though they have a nanomage mother.

In 29452 insurance technology is made available to everyone on Rubi-Ka. Odd Olveda takes his family with him to get insured, but passing through Varmint Woods, they are assaulted by a small group of clans. Morphex and his brother manages to escape the assault, while their mother and father are killed. In a small barrel, they float down the river to Omni 1 where they join the Omni-Tek corporation.

Morphex promises to get revenge for his father, and starts training as an agent at an Omni-Tek war academy off planet. His brother stays behind to learn the ways of the martial artist.

When Morphex reaches the age of 17 the third civil war of Rubi-Ka starts with the Battle of Stret. Being eager to get revenge for his father, he tries to join the Omni-Tek army, but is refused because he is too young. The war only lasts for one year.

In 29467, Henry Radiman takes on the responsibility of leading the Council of Truth. Three years later, Morphex and his younger brother take up their weapons to defend Omni-Tek from the Dust Brigade. Many Omni-Tek employees are killed, but the same year, the Council of Truth signs the Tir Accord Addendum. They claim to not have anything to do with the terrorists.

Morphex's anger with the clans is growing, he refuses to believe their lies. Killing them relaxes him, its almost like a drug. His reputation as a deadly, silent killer is growing.

In 29475, Morphex and his brother joins the scandinavian organization DRAP (Division of Rebel Aggression Pacification). DRAP seeks to destroy and remove the clans from the soil of Rubi-Ka, and Morphex feels right at home here. The president, Terrorizer, has also lost family in brutal terrorist attacks. He soon becomes the father Morphex lacked most of his life.

A few months later, DRAP joins The Black Alliance. Morphex is appointed General for his efforts. His qualities as a leader, and his strong hate towards the clans makes him a perfect choice. He moves from his old apartment in Rome Blue to DRAP's headquarters in Omni Trade, Highrise 14.

The situation inside Omni-Tek is however rapidly getting out of control. Omni-Pol accuses TBA of wanting to overthrow the Omni-Tek government on Rubi-Ka, while TBA accuses Omni-Pol of being traitors. A political battle never seen before is played out on Rubi-Ka, and people are starting to talk about a possible new civil war.

The Black Alliance was originally created as a radical organization with one goal. Removing the newly formed Red Freedom alliance. A series of coordinated attacks by TBA on clan cities, followed by the successful arrest of Commander Portman, leader of Red Freedom, made it impossible for Omni-Pol to take further action towards them. TBA and DRAP was dissolved in april 29476.

Morphex moves on from DRAP to the newly formed organization Mayhem, where he is appointed General. Mayhem is one of many new guilds formed in 29476 after the reappearence of the Dust Brigade. They are very radical, much like DRAP and TBA, but they have a new enemy. The situation on Rubi-Ka is very tense.

Summer of 29476 is one of the most brutal ones in Rubi-Kan history. The Dust Brigade is more powerful than ever, and Omni-Pol is left behind without a clue of who they are, where they are, and why they are. They attack clanners as well as employees of the corporation, even neutrals arent left alone by these cruel terrorists. Suddenly, they silently disappear again.

Mayhem suffers many problems, many incidents have made other OT organizations turn against them, and they are losing support from their own members. Seeking back to the good old times, Morphex joins friend and fellow agent, Azazzel, in an attempt to resurrect The BlackHand, founders of The Black Alliance. A few days later, his younger brother comes along.

Morphex is 32 years old, advisor and core member of The BlackHand, and feared agent in the shadows of Rubi-Ka.




Who is Morphex? Today he is just a shady figure blending in with the shadows of Rubi-Ka. He has been trained in concealment, assassination and close combat, as well as nano technology. He is a wiz with the nano bots, and very hard to track. If you need any particular item, or you want someone killed. Or maybe just need a skilled fighter for a mission. Morphex is you man.
