Press Release – Honored Maidens blocks transfer of Schumann & Associates
The Honored Maidens took steps today to block the transfer of files and documents from the Schumann and Associates law offices in Rome to their new facility in Jobe.
“For over a year now, The Honored Maidens have been outsourcing a number of minor legal disputes to allow our internal legal department to focus its attention on higher priority issues. In particular, numerous minor disputes over reimbursement for elective surgery performed by Omni-Med on THM departmental personnel were given to Schumann and Associates to mediate. The issues were handled in a satisfactory manner.
“However, we are moving to block the transfer of files and documents due to the nature of some of these procedures. We are concerned that data regarding these elective surgery procedures will now be stored in a data haven outside of Omni-Tek security protocols. The vast majority of the procedures were routine upgrades of existing implants, installation of organic components, and minor genetic modifications. However, numerous THM departmental personnel have volunteered for radical invasive surgery of an experimental and proprietary nature.
“To that end, we have filed documents with Omni-Admin and Omni-InterOps, as well as the JAME, to block the transfer of all documents, hardware, and personnel until such time that they can be reviewed for any potential security breaches. The security of the Omni-Tek Corporation, and the privacy of our employees is our primary concern.”
Who we are: The Honored Maidens are an organization of female and atrox Omni loyalists. We were formed on 10 July 29475 by Philip Ross to focus the strengths of an all-female group with atrox acting as guards. We continue to support and enforce the governing will of Philip Ross for the betterment of Rubi-Ka and all of Omni-Tek. Our role in the struggle between Omni-Tek and the clans on Rubi-Ka is primarily a supportive/defensive one in which we work to protect every Omni citizen's rights and way of life.
