Bags, Crates and Old Barrels

I recently used a char of mine I hadn't used in months and in the bank were lots of "bags", crates and old barrels. The all say "this is not a fixture" in the description. Are they good for anything?

I logged into my account which had been inactive since 1 month after release, to find I had 2 bags. Both say they are not a fixture, both say they can hold 18kg, but I can't open either of them. Bugged items?
