Omni repels clan invasion

As feared, today brought more bloodshed as several clan and rogue Omni forces attempted to invade Omni cities. A large scale assault led by rogue group SA and several high ranking clan factions was aimed at the very heart of Omni-1. For approx. 20 minutes police battled with the invaders and rebels at the very base of Omni Med in Omni HQ. The attackers were eventually repelled by Omni police, but not before several Omni Supreme commanders where killed in the line of duty. It is unkown how many of the rebels and clanners were killed in the battle, but early estimates indicate heavy losses. It apears that the attack was orchestrated by SA and many high ranking clan members who rallied support during the clan day of celebration, which Omni officials feared would cause just such a civil disturbance.

In other news, it apears that the illegal flow of arms into Omni -1 is increasing, and officials and police are concerned that gunrunners and smugglers are helping escalate crime levels within the city. Police have not uncovered any leads as to where these illegal weapons are being manufactured and how they are being distributed.

It is worth noting that Omni-Tek forces replied by attacking Tir, though.

While I was prepared to help Omni repel these rogue Clan members, their attack on Tir was not appreciated.

I agree if we did not attack Tir then it would have shown alot of......Whats the word...well you tell me *shrugs*

Kindness, yes...If we didnt attack back, that is honourable but no, omni has to put her gung ho troops right back where it came from (Tir)

There is really a popular opinion game that most people ignore. Look at the difference to anyone outside:

I agree, had Omni not counter-attacked, they would have come out looking like innocent angels suffering at the hands of madmen.

Friends of I always say Omni let Clans form cause they have no choice. We fight and we fight and then we fights some more so they finally go "OK you guys can be alive".

Facts.


Clans attack H20 in a large force taking control takes Omni 2 Hours to clear the area.

Omni Does nothing

Clans attack Omni HQ killing the guards trying to fight there way in to Kill Ross. Omni clears HQ of clanners a number of guards are killed in action luckly Ross was ok

Omni Does Nothing

Clans attack Omni Trade kills the guards then turns on the shop keepers killing them while Omni Forces where unable to do nothing.

Omni Attacks Tir, was it such a shock did you really expect people to suffer 3 large attacks in 5 hours and sit around doing nothing. The attack on the innoccent shop keepers was to much, we had to protect the FREEDOOM of Omni. We have a right to be safe from attacks, what did these shop keepers have to do with anything.

The Clan attacks would have gone on all night it was only after the raid on Tir that clans seemed to get the idea this was not just going to be a one way afair.

It is sad it took Omni-Tek voilence to stop the clan maddness but it worked.

The clans were foolish to think they could continue such a campaign without retribution. That is indeed very sad.

Almost as sad as all the reports and complaints of omni-tek's senseless and seemingly endless violence against innocents you continuously and conveniently overlook.

We will all suffer because of the misguided politics of a handful of fools who do not have the foresight to see that their acts are suicidal for all of us.
