    Official Message from Philip Ross
    Editor Raginar

Today, as the Shadowlands portal is opened, Omni-Tek CEO Philip Ross released this official statement on behalf of the corporation:

    Employees of Omni-Tek.

The path to a new tomorrow has been revealed by scientists and scholars bred and reared in our great corporation, forever loyal to Omni-Tek. It is engineered by our spirit, illuminated by our ingenuity and paved by our courage and determination to become all that we can become. It is the path into the Shadowlands.

By the wayside of our history lies the evidence of countless pioneers braving the unknown to bring us further ahead, towards perfection. The sacrifices of people like the Omni-Tek employees Boulez and Liu who gave their lives 775 years ago so their kind might prosper, have lead us into this new age of knowledge and experiences. They were of flesh and blood as you are. As they landed and gazed upon the blasted landscape they were exhilarated. They were determined. And as their craft broke down, they undoubtedly became scared of what awaited them, terrified of the lonely death they would suffer on this merciless planet..

But they continued for the good of mankind. They got the message back what awaited us here. They did not let us down - they did not let you down! They realized that it is Loyalty to our cause that makes us omnipotent, all else is incidental.

And now it is your turn not to let them down. Be loyal and be determined!

Citizens of Rubi-Ka, my decree is clear: Colonize the Shadowlands.

Jesska read the statement as it appeared on her NCU. "Colonize the Shadowlands" she repeated to herself. looking at her map she could see the markers for the city of Jobe. She let out a small sigh and whispered to herself "This is all going to end badly..."
AO is not just about pvp, or Rp or power lvling. It is about whatever the players choose to bring to it. Don't make it personal against one of these groups because you feel nerfed by the game company.

Atlantian: "Jesska Rhees" - lvl 153 Crat - retired
Rimor: Krazee "Lilyflie" Madness - lvl 103 ENF - semi around again

Mr. Ross I think is slipping.

    The Story of Jobe
The city of Jobe is quite a fantastic story. It was founded – built – by a group of rogue Omni-Tek scientists, a group who preferred the life of neutrality rather than employment with the Corporation.
They were so loyal to the corporation that they left Omni-Tek and started their own city? So loyal that they preferred the life of Neutrality? Hello? McFly? Anybody home? Sorry bad old earth joke. My point is...Omni-Tek once again tries to lay claim to something that is not theirs.

She stood in line for the Shadow Ops special appell...most words slipped through her cognition but those that sticked hammered against the nerves like the distant but yet to close barrage of heavy artillery...

"sacrifices of people ....Colonize.. be loyal... be determined... Loyalty to our cause that makes us omnipotent.... sacrifices of people...it is your turn... be loyal..be determined...omnipotent...my decree is clear"

His decree ?, to similiar sounded this to the vision she had. A fight and a destiny, but was that her destiny, is this all neccessary... Will there never be peace...

"Dismissed!" awakening she turned around and moved towards the parking space... "On the other hand, war is good for the business!" as she forced her mind to think this sentence she also pressed a happy smile on her lips, that stayed just.. cynical..

    Indeed.

And yet again you invent meanings and words which do not exist by any stretch of the imagination. Please do share where, in Mr. Ross' statement, he even remotely eluded to Omni-Tek owning anything?

The clans are acting completely unreasonable. You'll get your chance to go to Jobe, so stop complaining. Ingrates...

Ammicus, I guess you missed the thread:

Omni-Tek announced today that it would reclaim its rights to the Jobe Portal.
According to Omni-Tek spokesman, Michael Dunleavy, “Omni-Tek funded almost 100% of the research conducted at the Jobe laboratory. As a result we are asserting the right to exclusive access to the portal work for review.”
Of course later on in the article Omni-Tek spokesman makes a complete 180 and says they are only interested in the research, and not posession of the portal. Yet the Omni AF forces that killed a lot of my friends to control it spoke otherwise.

Actions do speak louder than words.

Either way the portal is free for Clan and Omni. Thats all that matters.

That was a temporary measure undertaken by Omni-Tek, a point quite clearly made by Spokesperson Dunleavy:

Once our research group has had a proper chance to review the material at hand, the portal will be handed back to the Jobe scientific community intact and unharmed to utilize as they see fit
Omni-Tek at no time desired to completely claim exclusive ownership over the Portal.

    Lightbulb Whose Line Anyway?

Look carefully and you might be able to see that Phillip Ross has something whispering in his ear, though he himself maybe willfully blind to it.. Are those truely his words... Or is someone else pulling his strings?
Do not seek truth through brighter light, or inspection of appearances. you may find the truth, but it may not be what you were looking for.

reads the article while drinking her coffee

Hmmm....this is not going good at all. One little discovery made to the public and everyone goes with weapons to it. The JAMEs claim they made a great discovery but all they will bring is destruction.

After flicking throught the Radiman article, she finds this one, reads, and comments to herself, "colonize it, eh? As if it's been sitting around for eons waiting for humanoids to become squatters and homesteaders. I must have missed the 'for sale" sign in the JAME article."

Sergeant Marcai recieves a transcript of Mr.Ross's speach through his Modified Omni-Pol armor and looks to his wrist. There he reads the speach with great delight.

"So....we will go to the shadowlands...." he says softly while passing the bar tender at Rompas.
