Some Neutrals and Clanners find common ground

It's late at night in Newland City. It's quiet as usual, abandoned by most neutrals who dislike the oppressive nature of the cities current "Protectors". There are a few of us though, doing business or whatever, and usually we get into and out of Newland city as soon as we're done. But tonight is different, there is a gathering at the whom-pah. Clan members from several organizations looking ready for a fight. There are many neutral citizens, but those arn't there target. They are looking for Thugs. As they start to work their way to Lorren Warr a call goes out over neutral communications frequency "Clanners attacking Newland city!". But when several high ranking neutrals arive we see that no, Clanners arn't attacking Newland City, they are attacking the opressive thugs that have been a force of division for us for so long. Many neutrals, whome had no relationship with these Clanners, join them in thier attempt to free the city of the Thugs.

Lorren Warr and many Thugs went to reclaim that night, and a message was sent. Their not welcome in our city. I would like to thank the Clanners who initiated this attack and know if you do it again you will recieve similar help. And I offer my services should you need assistance with the Sentinals in Tir.

Sigh, the once thriving city of Newland is a ghost town these days... Where's the time when people from all factions used to visit Newland for business or socialising?

Surely the city council must see this too... Why do the traders, shop and bar owners not resist this situation?

I say: Council of Newland City, take up your responsabilities, this has been going on far to long. Send Warr and his thugs back where they belong. Let Newland once again be the city where all people of Rubi Ka can come in peace.

I have in the past, unsuccessfully I might add, tried to raise support and forces for an attack on mr. Warr and his thugs. To see this now having actually happened, albeit without my knowledge, unfortunately, is wonderful indeed! Mr. Warr can count on more unpleasant surprises in the future, we would like nothing more than to open NL City for business and thriving co-existance yet again, as much as we would like to throw mr. Silverstone out of Tir, and replace him with elements friendly to the neutral community.
I would have our neutral friends know, that you are most welcome to Tir......in our eyes. We need now to speed up the process of throwing out those oppressors of true Clanship, and get have Tir open its doors yet again to our friends.

Long live freedom of speach and beleif!

    Cool Thanks for the help

I will like to thank my fellow clanners that would allow me to help kill MR. Warr and for my neutral friends who came to help us ruin his day in Newland.

This will not be an isolated cooperation. The neutrals and clan both share a common ideal: To be free. Let us rise together and transcend common foes in Loren Warr, Sentinels, Henry Radiman and Philip Ross.

Mr. Henry Radiman is not anyones common foe, mr. Thedeacon, barr the Omnis. These are purely your own feelings, please do not elevate yourself to thinking for me or any other clan, my friend!

And just who do you think you are to start 'declareing' enemies when you cannot even keep your own clan clean from the blood of innocents? Might makes right in your clan perhaps, but not on all of Rubi-Ka.

From this vantage point things look quite differently.

hey, im an ex-omni soldier, now working as a scout and explorer for the corporation. and -i- dont like those cheap, poorly-trained thugs in newland city either. it used to be a place where people could maybe meet and discuss possibilities for peaceful negotiation. now its a desolate shadow of its former glory. like so much of rubi-ka, it has had some unhappy changes forced upon it. if you are trying to get warr out, i wish you good luck

Peace is no longer an option on Rubi-Ka.

So tell me Ammicus. How do you prefer to solve the situation? Kill eachother? With the reclaim technology that is not an option either as it will go on and on and on and on and on.....

Many months ago, when these Mercenaries were first hired. I moved in a force to remove them. Trying to send the same message that this little band was months late in doing. Hopefully things of this nature will continue. Freedom is a goal of Clan and Neutral alike.

I remember this Ben, and I would like to think of this recent event as not late, but a continuation of the struggle against oppression.

I tend to prefer emotional and psychological destruction to outright cold-blooded violence, actually. It is much more effective at subverting one's enemies, and, best of all, its use is not ameliorated by reclaim technologies.

But I digress. I have no wish to see such things happen to the neutral citizens of Rubi-Ka. Omni-Tek fully accepts and respects your chosen allegiance.

What is it with Clanners and Neuts? As soon as something resembling authority gets put in place, they start screaming "Oppression!" and shoot the nearest official. If you can't accept a little justice and order in your society, you should just kill yourself now.

I have one thing to say to you Mr. Houston. Let he who is without Sin cast the first stone. Omni-Tek has just as much innocent blood on its hands as the Clans do.

    Smile I agree

    I agree with Fixerben.

But Still the fight their is between Omni and Clan will go on... Their is still some people who hugger for blood from each side.

But it was a good fight against the thugs in Newland City.

Good heavens! Is this common in your communities? I was looking forward to my first visit to Rubi-Ka having been born and raised in Jobe but now I'm beginning to get a bit apprehensive.

Do you people do nothing but fight?

So, I should understand that, for the Omni-Tek, Justice mean that
an innocent clanner, doing his own buisness (such as shoping
for clusters), must be shot dead in sight ?
Is that, what you, Omni-Tek representatives, mean by "Justice",
    and "Authority" ?

Got some troubles in the past going throught Newland, being
cunningly and wildly attacked by Mr Lorren Warr, without even
being asked for my official papers, nor my mission orders.
If i understand thing correctly, Justice and Authority in Newland
City mean: "Hit badly first, ask questions after".

Thanks for enlightning us, and making us remember why we have chosen
    the true freedom side.
