    THE BEST BANDS!! w00t

I just wanna know what the AO community listens to. I'm a big fan of the following

    Tool
    Pink Floyd
    Led Zepplin
FingerTight (they're local hear now, but in a few months...)
    NIN
    Deftones
Rage Against the Machine (pre-Battle Of LA)
    Smashing Pumpkins
Beastie Boys (they were punk once...)
    Incubus

That's really what I've listened to these past few years. I do always like to listen to new stuff. I tried some O-Town a couple months ago and about hung myself...oh well.
    DKillah
    Gravewalkers

I saw the topic of this thread and was going to come in and flame you to death if Tool wasnt in your list. But, alas, no flaming, cause TOOL was at the top. Good job

Icubus is good, but not the best. You should have, Melvins up there. Also, King Crimson, Fantomas (early stuff), RadioHead (OK Computer just kicks ass), Zavm is awesome if you even know who they are (and this isnt the new band Billy Corgan started), Metallica rules (before the whole Napster ****, now they have lost all my respect).

Eels are the best band. You can check out their audio/video clips on their site at: http://www.eelstheband.com/ Just don't turn your speakers up too loud while playing Souljacker, or they might explode.

    actual band or joke?

    you cant beat the best:
    -Mozart
    -beethoven
    -bach
-the theme song for Magnificent seven, and everything else the guy wrote (I think he also did the song which comes up on nearly every football movie, its a good song but I have heard it enough already)
-that guy who did the music for Star Trek "First Contact" (he had a good song, I am no super-uber treky, I just remember it for some reason)

O yeah; some ppl love Irish punk and a group called Jimmy's Chicken Shack, I have never heard their songs though
