Missing patch...?

I keep hearing everyone talk about 14.2... but wasn't the last one 14.0? What happened to 14.1??

Just wondering what'll be happening between now and the OE/IPR patch, besides lots of people arguing about OE. ;P

Apparently odd number patches are repair patches or somesuch. No, I don't get it either.

Alright, then there's TWO patches between now and 14.2. Why are we hearing SO much about 14.2 and nothing about the other two??

We are currently on 13.9.

14.0 is up on test. You can easily check it out by yourself, or read the patch notes. The highlight of it is team missions. Other than that, there are quite a lot of technical/graphical changes, that not everyone care about.

IF there will be a 14.1, it will be released to fix any extreme issues that will arise from the 14.0 patch. Maybe someone find a way to exploit, or someone find that textures are missing... The odd (.1, .3, .5 and so on) patches are never sheduled. They are not really wanted, but it is much neater, and easier to organize. They can already now refer to the 14.2 patch as just 14.2, instead of saying "It will be the next patch, unless we have to patch in between."

After this comes the confirmed patch 14.2. No words on when it will be released.

14.2 is very disscus right now because it is a very hot subject.



So it is good we are about now. Even if 14.0 is not already live.

And also they make always patch by a 0.2 scale, and then can make a new xx.xx + 0.1 patch if they have some issue to fix quickly.

Odd nbr patches are usualy server patches and there is a14.0 post for changes in that patch.
