I did play the Shadowlands beta and since i did like it i decide to preoder Shadowlands and give AO another try.
But today i got a mail from Funcom telling me that they had to apply VAT to my subscription at a rate of 15 %.
No problem so far since this is due to a new European trade law.
But then i saw that i will be billed now in € instead of £ at a 1:1 ratio.
My last subscription did cost me 10,95 € at the current € to $ excgange ratio.
I do consider this a ripp off and did at once cancel both my AO subscription and my Shadowlands preorder.
Are you other Europeans fine with this hidden subscription raise?
I am not and therefore will not play this game anymore.
