In Everquest if you try to drop something on the ground you ger "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DROP ITEM XXX ON THE GROUND!?"

In fact. You can TOTALY DISABLE droping items!

There is text indicating the current trade target : which can be likened to the text indicating that your system is about to be hacked.

There is an accept and decline button for the trade : which can be likened to YES/NO buttons to allow or deny the unautorized access.



You can argue that XP should automatically stop all unauthoized access, but if you can stop it by clicking a YES/NO button, you can't exactly blame Microsoft if your system gets hacked.

Ever seen a Dragon corpse in Veeshan's Peak poof as it hit the ground?
Ever seen every item for a Fiery Defender go *poof* in a lagged/linkdead trade and not get reimbursed?


Everquest had (and still has) many many bugs.

I heartfully think that when FC made such a mistake, that they should clean up their mess. This is a fault in the development, which is apparently a face that will not go to the community, the lazy bastards. i have never been so pissed. EVER.
