GA Question

I'm new to the fixer proffession, and I was wondering, if GA is 25/50/75% effective, is the "defence" rating still the same or does it go down like with ACs?

It's not that I don't like it, I use it, but I hate seeing new threads on it when there is a search function on the forums that works much easier.
