They did this in DAoC. I personally don't like the idea of that but wouldn't mind having the choice between maybe some xp and some credits.
Maybe they could save a unique mob just for such an occasion, or an item to hunt. Of course it would have to be something everyone on the dimension can at least hope to participate in.
For the extended wait I wouldn't mind if they did a player database wipe. That would be cool. as everyone starting out
would be level 1, and we would all lag each other to death
because there would be so many of us in the backyards,
just trying to get to level 2, by killing reets and leets and
whatever else we could shoot or kill.

No, there are dozens of legitimate problems with this game. Focus on them instead of idiotic ideas like this and maybe you can get something done about them.

But I guess that count as giving me something, I would get 10 hours free time every day

28 days in feb *24 hours in a day = 672 hours of playing time
take the most expensive fee (1 month @ 12.95)
12.95/672 = $0.01927 an hour
*12 hours = $0.23125.
OMG!!!! you've lost almost an entire quarter of playing time.
On another note $0.23125 will buy you 57,812 credits on ebay assuming $40 for 10million credits which looks like a standard price from my view
