    All of the information about the fair can be viewed at the link to the gridfeed in the above post. I have also applied to have it added to the events calendar.

    I didn't post the date here in order to draw your attention to the gridfeed.

    While you visiting, don't forget to stop by the Circle G booth to pick up free* refreshments. Drinks, Pies, Cookies, Nuclear Chili, and other items to stimulate your senses.

    While enjoying your refreshments, talk to Cirlce G about your security needs. Let us know what we can do for you.

    Need a personal bodyguard? Maybe escort through hostile territory? Or maybe your needs are more...specific? Talk to us and find out how we can help you.

    And don’t forget, free* refreshments.

    Re: That Evil Timezone demon again!

    Speaking of Timezone demon:

    Date: Saturday, May 3, 29477

    Time: 12pm Pac/2pm Central/3pm Eastern/8pm GMT/19:00 UTC

    Place: Stret West Bank – Inner Courtyard around Reets
    GMT & UTC should be equal.

    Based on the PDT/CDT/EDT times of 12p/2p/3p the GMT should be 7pm. That will make the GMT & UTC equal.

    Due to Daylight savings time, this is not the case at this moment.

    ((OOC:

    The daylight savings offset is GMT + 1 hours.

    3PM EDT is 7PM GMT during the summer. 3PM EST is 8PM GMT in winter.

    GMT/UTC never changes, its constant year round. Local times are adjusted accordingly.

    EST = GMT - 5.
    EDT = (GMT - 5) + (GMT + 1) = GMT - 4

    So 8 PM GMT = 3PM EST & 4PM EDT. Since most of the world in on BST/DST for summer if you use the GMT time incorrectly everyone will show up an hour late.

    Oh, and by the way, GMT is UTC its impossible for them to be different.

    Check out the LINKS in my SIG and be informed. ))

    Lucky you

    They finally updated this weekend
    Last week UTC was GMT-1
    (I'm not kidding, it really was)

    Timezone conflict:

    Well, when I was putting this together UTC was an hour off from GMT.

    **as of this post UTC is GMT-1** Therefore, 19:00 UTC would be 20:00 GMT which would then place Eastern at 3:00pm. So, as it stands I believe all times posted on the site and flyers that will be passed out are correct.

    Sid and Viray, your information has been updated. Thank you for signing up.

    A "commercial" sound spot has also been added. Check it out at:

    /me shakes his head.

    UTC is another name for GMT! How can they be different? Please show me.

    edit: I think you are confusing GMT with BST, BST = GMT + 1 which would make UTC = BST - 1. Look at the bottom of this thread by the time. Its shows that the current time is in BST which is UTC/GMT + 1

    /me gives up

    Note to all people attending this event: Use the UTC time.

    We at Circle G looks forward to meet and greet you all under different circumstances than while defending ours or our customers mining facilities.

    With the risk of meeting someone we might have battled against during our everyday life in mind, I hope you all are as professionally minded as we are - it was just business back then, nothing personal. *smiles innocently*

    (In other words: Bump! )
