Wanna make some real big bucks?? (rk1)

24-7 is now establlishing on Rubi-Ka to cover a demand in services and trade that until now is uncovered. The people givin the task to establish this galactic organization is 20 veteran pioneers from Warders of Omni. After long talks with 24-7 they decided to start 24-7 on Rubi-Ka. The first meeting was held this sunday and a one week schedule was set to get 24-7 up and running before new members was to be recruited. So from sunday new members can apply to join 24-7.
All applicants accepted will have a wealthy and joyful future in 24-7.

When we say 24-7 is a trade and services faction, this means not that we are not out hunting, fighting and travelling to the outskirts to retrive special items. This is needed to make the shop running offcourse.

24-7 also have the intention to be a part of big events and be seen on Rubi-Ka, as "publicity always give more cash flowing" as our founder Talys Rashaes stated.

24-7 want to recruit all professions to be able to give the best services to whom may need it.

OOC: RP all the way is the slogan we had in mind when we formed this guild. Also taking with us the mistakes and experience from running a faction since Beta2 of AO. We may be demanding of our members, but i feel the reward will be even bigger. Not only are we able to partipate in the storyline, but we also have alot lines we can follow "infaction", that we will offcourse nest with the storyline, wich for me just could be enough for excuse to play AO and people have really ignited upon the ideas we have presented. We that create 24-7 is people that have been playing AO trough all the diffeculties we all have experienced, and still had a fun time. If this seems interesting please dont hesitate to contact us.

So for those interesting in big bucks, cruising around in shiny Yalmahas with your sunglasses on, join 24-7 now. Our Webpage with a applicationpage is soon up and running. Meanwhile you can send me a message on the boards here or contact director Liriel ingame.

    Happy Hunting Omni Warrior!

Methuen of 24-7 have digged up some details about the creation of 24-7

    24-7 Background

....Finding file 3XE9-L87-7V: History of Trading Organization 24-7....
    ....File found, Decrypting file....
    ....Decryption complete....

The trading organization commonly known as 24-7 has a long and sometimes obscure history. Created by Talys Rashaes in the year 29,412 AD with the express purpose of importing and exporting precious cargo, they are one of the largest commercial trade organizations in the galaxy. Their stocks have recently hit a record peak, with 24.5 billion shares being sold per day across Omni-Tek affiliated planets. Also, they provide a large percentage of Omni-Tek aligned outer-rim planets, including Rubi-Ka with their only source of supply and off world transport.

Talys Rashaes, CEO and Founder of 24-7, created 24-7 with the dream of combining his wealth of knowledge on the subject of spacial transportation with his vast amount of import/export contacts that he had accrued through his life as one of Omni-Tek's galactic bureaucrats. It started off as a little known side-business that had one small transport, taking goods from Earth to the main colony on the terra-formed planet of Venus. It floundered at the start, actually sending Talys into a deep debt, which he could barely recover from. But, recover he did, although it took him a while before he could afford to increase his warehouse capacity. Once he could increase his capacity, 24-7 started to take off. Soon, they were shipping goods to Venus, Mars, and the colony of Vengi-V on Deimos.

One deal he made with Rakken Elwood went particularly sour in Vengi-V, as told by Gaelen Kuon, a local newsreporter. Talys agreed to meet with Rakken at a bar named The Cutlass, in a run-down part of town. He arrived to a totally deserted bar, and was promptly roughed up by two of Rakken's thugs, and dragged into the back room. Rakken declared that Talys was to start paying him 'protection' money, or he would have Talys killed and his insurance wiped. Talys reluctantly agreed, and the future of 24-7 was uncertain. That is until Tayls pulled some strings in the Omni-Tek bureaucracy, and had Rakken's files dug up from the database at Omni-Pol. Rakken was currently under invesigation for a number of crimes, including money laundering, grand larceny, murder, kidknapping, assault, and a number of other things. Talys also got wind of a raid that Omni-Pol was going to conduct in 2 weeks time on Rakken's estate, and he figured he could turn this deal to his great advantage. Talys hopped on the next transport leaving for Vengi-V, and planned a meeting with Rakken. He brought the news of the raid to Rakken, and blackmailed him into handing over his extensive contact list of system-wide underworld contacts, including 'Blackball', one of the systems' most notorious criminals. Once Talys had received the list, and had gotten a safe distance away, he called the Omni-Pol commander that he had talked to in the Vengi embassy. Rakken Elwood's estate was raided by a 30-strong Omni-Pol detachment, and Rakken met with a brutal end at the hands of the commander leading the detachment.

After Talys returned to Earth from Vengi-V, he put his new list of contacts to good use. From Allistair Lundok, the leader of the Hrishoma organzition on Svem-Tel, he was able to create a supply line in outlawed gun parts, which he traded to Hiroko Yoshima in return for supplies of stolen blank nano-crystals. With deals like these made from almost the whole list of contacts, 24-7 slowly but surely extended it's reach throughout the system, with at least one trading station in every major colony. The 24-7 fleet consisted of 5 Niagra class inter-stellar cargo ships, 13 Challenger ship-to-surface transportation vessels, and 19 Freedom Star zero-grav fighters. With his trading routes and company firmly established, Talys turned to the business of setting up long-distance routes to outer-rim planets. But, his sub-ordinates had a different idea in mind.

Londo Gruelin, one of Talys' aides, was brought into 24-7 with the vision of expanding the reach of Omni-Tek through the actions of it's subsidiaries. As 24-7 grew in power, he saw this vision being perverted and twisted by its leader, Talys. As time went on, he grew to resent Talys' leadership of 24-7, and planned to wrest control of the organization through a series of assassinations and bribes. He methodically worked his way up through the ranks, until one day he found himself within Talys' inner circle. He was the VP of Finance, and he decided it was time to execute the final part of his plan. He gathered his most trusted confidantes, and using his influence, he was able to get within the inner confines of Talys' highrise penthouse. Londo knew that Talys had had his own cell scanner installed within his house, so he had brought along one of 24-7's most skilled hackers. The hacker was able to access Talys' personal databanks, and wiped Talys' insurance files. With that complete, Londo and his allies rushed the room Talys was known to sleep in, only to find that Talys wasn't there. The assassins were bewildered, until the man beside Londo had his head blown clear off by the burst of Talys' enhanced Nova Flow. There was an intense firefight in the middle of Talys' penthouse, and at the end, only Londo and Talys were left. Talys had no ammo left, and was bleeding heavily out of a hole in his side. Londo advanced on Talys, and Talys fell to his knees, to weak to stand, not caring whether he lived or died. "Your life ends here, traitor." And with that, Londo ended the life of the most succesful and charismatic leader that 24-7 would ever know.
