Guys,

How about this...there are many people complaining about not being able to get out of roots cast by mobs after the mob is dead. So, instead of making debuffs not break root, why not leave that alone and just make it so you can't run hostile nanos on yourself while in a fight? I'm sure almost everyone has accidentally debuffed or rooted themself in the heat of battle - this would have a nice side effect. It would also allow the players to get out of roots once the fight is over with.

We already know the code supports the concept of hostile nano supression (you can't cast hostile nanos on players in 75% zones, for example) and we know the code supports limiting player actions in fights (you can't use treatment labs, the grid, etc). Seems it would be a fairly simple solution that addresses a few problems at once.

On a side note...what's up with the base abilities not affecting nano resist (for example, I raised INT by over 200 and it didn't raise nano resist at all) --- is this per design?
