Angry Fellow Clanners: Protest the Omni-Tek genocide!

As we sit here today, Omni-Tek Artillery ships are hovering over the planet Grondell 6 in the Hammurabi System. The commanders are charging their weapons, ready to launch a massive bombard on the cities of Grondell, then to be closely followed by troop transporters penetrating the atmosphere to gain control of Grondell Metropolis.

Alexandr Stettin, Chairman of the Omni-Tek Hammurabi branch, has been featured frequently on Tri-D the latest months, presenting several plausible reasons for this intrusion of an independent planet:

The capitalist tyrant of Grondell 6, Vlad Rubeus, has been oppressing the worker classes of the planet for many decades, and is generally known as the most hated person in the Hammurabi System. Recently it has also been claimed that he possesses illegal anti-matter weapons, capable of annihilating whole star systems at will.
Sources in Omni-Tek also claim that Rubeus has provided asylum for several members of Dust Brigade, as they were witnessed escaping from Rubi-Ka after the destruction of an apartment complex in Omni-1 one year ago.

But how veracious are these claims? Know we not that ICC have been searching for this anti-matter for several years, always updated with the latest of Omni-Tronic scanner systems and bugging devices, without finding the smallest trace of a positron?
And what about the Dust Brigade rumours? How can possibly a bigwig like Rubeus have something in common with the anarchist Dust Brigade? The cause of DB is, as we knows, not only abolition of Omni-Tek, but of all corporate greed intruding the peacefullness of a planet. Vlad Rubeus is as much their enemy as Philip Ross is.

And if the goal of this invasion is to rid the galaxy of this dictator and his horrible weapons, why is the rather inaccurate artillery then aimed at Grondell Metropolis, home to more than fifty million grondellians?

The answer, I think, we have go go outside Grondell 6 to find. We have to look at the other planets of the solar system, more precisely Grondell 3 and 8. These planets are small gas giants, without traces of life neither on them or their moons. But they make up for that by being vast storages of Xenon-15. This inert gas is vital to civilian starships, as it has a less violent nature than the military standard Krypton-29, but holds almost as much energy.
As we know, starfuel daughter corporations represent the spine of Omni-Tek power. It is little reason to believe that the Omni-Tek intrusion in the Grondell system has any other cause than the wish for dominance of the fuel resources.

As clanners we may have full hands fending off Omni-Tek on Rubi-Ka, but do not forget that we represent the fighting spirit of democracy all through the galaxy, and that oppressed peoples everywhere admire our tireless fight for justice and freedom. What moves we perform here on RK, will be seen all over the Milky Way. So let not this war go unnoticed!
