IRRK: Cyborgs attack Newland, suppressed by Militia

The past week, Newland City has seen cyborg prototypes seemingly scanning the city and making note of defenses as well as citizens. Each time the prototypes appeared, several civilians as well as Militia forces were sent to reclaim.

However, Newland is not some defenseless cyborg playground, and with the help of some OTAF personnel as well as Major Rintaro from Omni-Security, the Militia retaliated on the numerous massacres and successfully immobilized one cyborg identified solely as Prototype 180.

This may not have weakened the cyborg motivations, as another prototype tried to apprehend well-known activist Katelin Phare yesterday. It met massive resistance in both militia and citizens of all factions.

General Hekkat, Commander of the Newland Militia, thundered in a statement early this morning: "Enough is enough! Those tin cans think they can waltz into my city and do as they please? Well, they have another thing coming! Newland will never back down or stop defending those who seek shelter here, no matter their background, station or faction!"

The Homestead Accord pledges its support to all efforts to suppress these attacks. The cyborg incursion in Newland City will not be tolerated, and we call upon other neutral organizations to join us in solidarity. This is not strictly an Omni-Tek or Clan facing problem. It's everyone's.

I am also happy to provide support for the repair and defense of Newland. These cyborgs should know that Newland is not now, and never will be, an easy target for their kidnappings and murders.
