New blood on the Staff

It is with pleasure that the Council of Truth welcomes a new member in the clerical staff, Cindi "Razishlyat" Bolieu. Ms. Bolieu started assuming clerk duties at the October session. She was already involved as a representative and as such, organized the last Clan Rememberance Day for the Council. Welcome aboard!


Newland Liaison for the Council of Truth

After the position has been opened for a month, the Council of Truth selected a new Liaison at the October session. Ms. Milly "Mirura" Harrada will ensure contact between the Council of Truth and the Newland City Council. As such, her goal will be to establish and maintain more constructive relations and keep the lines of communication open between both Councils. Now that Newland has been freed from the grip of the Shadow Compendium, Ms. Harrada's work can be more productive. Her knowledge of the Newland community will certainly be an asset for her with these new duties. Congratulations!


Allegations from Omni-HQ

Last month's session of the Council of Truth, in September, was interrupted when hackers breached the Tower of Truth's security. The hackers relayed a message from Omni-HQ, adressed to the Council of Truth members. The message was brief:

Members of this body have been observed supplying notum for sale offworld. This smuggling activity must end immediately or the Council will be held subject to extreme countermeasures.

After investigation, the Council of Truth found no evidence supporting these accusations. No notum was provided by any Council member for the purpose of smuggling.

Subsequently, the Council of Truth will file a report to the ICC. This report will inform ICC that the Council or its members has not supplied any notum for illegal trade, and that the Omni-Tek's monopoly over notum trade was not challenged nor breached by the Council of Truth.

Omni-HQ is invited to discuss the matter if they can provide us with factual data in order to clarify the situation, preferably in means more appropriate to such a sensitive matter.

Meanwhile, the security of the Tower of Truth has been updated, the security breach addressed by Vanguards engineers and the hacker was dealt with by The Sentinels.
