Basic day.
One day closer to RIP.
Also had confirmation that they have no intention of looking at the outrageous cost for AO either.
AAA prices for an abandoned game really is just an insult.
Don't blame FC, blame the people still willing to pay AAA prices even after FC had announced it had ceased development. Those are the people they are keeping it open for, not those of us screaming for $5 month. Do you really expect FC to turn down what is essentially free money?
It's not that simple though. At this point if we just stop paying these outrageous prices, instead of lowering the price or changing to another revenue model, FC would just pull the plug permanently.
In my opinion FC really is the only one to blame for keeping the super greedy subscription AND cash shop model. On top of that the FC item store is the most expensive shop I've encountered in any game. Almost no account wide options and everything costs an arm and a leg. Also pricing for FC points is fully linear. In other games the more coin you buy the less you pay per coin.

It's life, Jim, but not as we know it, not as we know it, not as we know it; it's life, Jim, but not as we know it, not as we know it, Captain.
It sounds as an adequate description for AO... how quaint.
