It rather aimed at players leveling alts, but new player may try it as well.
However there are some important points:
1. Not every prof is good at soloing, some like adv, MA or Crat are better then NT or Doc.
2. You do not need huge amounts of credits and top gear but you need to have at least average or above average gear. You will be killing mobs that drop some pearl which can be sold but I am not sure if that will be enough.
3. It is important to always have implants of considerably higher QL than your level and in order to be able to equip them you will need some basic twinking items (which for new player may be a small problem unless you join friendly org that will borrow or give you some of those) I am not talking about rare or expensive items just : med suit, concrete cushion, other buffing weapons, rings etc...
