Alcohol in AO?
Someone most likely thought about this before, and made a post... BUT!
How about making stat changes for drinking beer/whiskey/whatever? like.... say.. +2 strength and -10 intelligence? Not much real use, but it would be a cool detail.
GIVE DRUNK PEOPLE SPECIAL EMOTES!!!!!
like... /stagger.. or /fall_down_stairs
Now THAT could be fun.
We already got /barf, but EMOTES ROCK!!
Any thoughts?

I think we already have enought kids running around in underwear so we don't need drunk people running around in underwear.

Actually it would more likely be -5 strength -20 agility -50 intelligence -100 runspeed and maybe a slight visual haze effect ;)

I liked how in EQ there was an alcohol tolerance, and when you got drunk you automagically stumbled... and it also slurred your speach when you typed, sometimes to a point it's unreadable... then the more you got drunk you got tunnel vision and eventually passed out... it was fun to play with... and i think once you built up your alcohol tolerance enough it would add benefits to warrior type classes.... they would hit harder while buzzed or something... hehe
