So the link Michi pointed us at in his posts on today's Update notes seems to download the Testlive version of the engine. That's not much help for accessing the Live servers :p
Who has a New Engine client working for the Live server (RK5) and where did you DL it from?
Manually downloading 18.8.0_EP2 files worked for me.
The link in the second post from the Update notes works fine for me for the live server .
I just get into the test server with that file
i also get into test with that link, must be something else messing with it i guess.
perhaps prefs from test, i'll rename that and see if it helps.
EP2 files are for the testlive server, so if you check what you are downloading that can help :)
yes the first and second link both give me testlive ... very annoying

I didn't DL the new engine for Testlive, but I have had a Beta install since the day it went up and I have had Testlive installs in the distant past, so perhaps there was a confluence of prefs info that might've have done it.
(Also Beta ran very well for me on my machine so unless the new engine has somehow fallen off a cliff in the last few months, I'll enjoy it more than not :p )

from what i saw EP0 was small client no longer in use, EP1 is Large Client. i downloaded and installed EP2 files and got test, sorry if im wrong, just seems odd

Mine currupted everytime I attempted to download and install. 3 or 4 times manually (direct download) and through the downloader.
Gave up in the end, not worth it.
