Outdated Forum Stuff

Stuff i've found to be out of date regarding RP/the story on AOs forums.


New Arrivals:

Beginners Guide: Storyline and Events - Mentions the event participation on account management which no longer runs, and the links are out of date and need adjusting

Fourth Wall Bookmarks:

• Long-Term Characters: Information & LTC List - LTC list needs updating
• ARK Events Ongoing Storylines - This needs reposting once up to date as its currently been killed
• Officially Unofficial AO/IRC OOC RP Chatbot - Needs updating with new information for RKRP and RKRPOOC since AORPbot no longer runs
• - The Omni-Pol File Database=This link needs removing as the database has moved and is hugely outdated, it's a personal project of mine now but its pretty much on the backburner. I'll be discussing it with Nova to see if we need to relaunch it.
• The Reporter Support System - To my understanding this isn't something which is to return, so the link should be killed.
• The all in one legacy clan and Omni info thread - Legacy information needs updating (not sure about Clan side other than New Dawn) but Omni side should now show the changes brought in by Pourais
• NLC/OTAM/CoT Meeting Schedule Thread - Link has been killed, i'm assuming it's being updating already?
  OOC Information Collection:
  • Council of Truth Meetings - FAQ - Needs updating
  • Omni-Tek affiliate Meetings - FAQ - Needs updating
  • Newland City Council Information and FAQ
  • The IRRK Freelance info post, or how to become a reporter. - Link has been killed, i'm assuming it's being updating already?
  • List of all Freelance Reporters - No longer available, maybe we need a new post for this or i can add to the all in one info?
  • All the other links are server specific and also out of date, so can be killed
• How to Join the Omni-Tek Affiliate Meetings/Council of Truth - Needs updating
• OOC Meeting Schedule Discussion Thread - Doesn't need to be bookmarked IMO as changes have already happened
• The Green Cloaks (monthly OOC meeting in Reet's Retreat) - No longer runs, thread can be unbookmarked.

The Fourth Wall:

• Clan Faction Representative Candidates - Does this still need to be stickied?
• Neutral Faction Representative - Same as above

Pretty much everything related to the Council of Truth will need updating. For now, things are still on stasis. The Council is not dissolved, but in prolonged recess; the clerical staff who were serving are still considered clerks unless they decide otherwise. With the current story getting wind in its back, it's not an easy task to tackle both at once given that players have RL too ;) It's coming though.
