When was the last time you saw a lowby MA with a bow?
Since you haven't seen one... what makes you think they aren't viable?
I've had a plan to make a 90 MA bow twink for ages now... but, haven't had the time to build it.
I'm still dreaming of a Blade of Boltar with fast attack and glory proc.
Maybe involve a Xan Weapon upgrade somewhere.
Mm "Bob of Xan" sounds kinda like a song...
But yeah, bows would be a nice alternative if we could get a SL perkline to go along with the AI line.
And more "modern" bows that use phys init instead of all the new ranged init ones.
Or ranged init support on our buffs etc...
bob should have sneak attack in it, its based on kyr'ozch rapier anyway, since they rip off our AS they could EASILY add SA to bob so everyone would really use it
SA on one, FA on other, bob ftw.
Gief BoB upgrade to replace my shen sticks and I'll be a very happy MA.
SA, FA and/or more damge would be neat for sure but I'll be happy with just a new mesh compared to the ugly-sticks.
What about an higher end AoE fear for PVM
It could be useful in some instances when you want to take on a dyna and are stuck with all the adds :/
Make the duration of it at least a bit longer than 11 seconds tho...
Code MA fears as executing from the fighting target as an AoE so that every mob other than the fighting target runs away.
Kind of like in any martial arts fight scene where the minions run away in fear and the hero(s) battle the main villain.
All of the fears could be coded that way, though the PvP fear would probably be left as a single target :/
Would love to see fears as a functional form of crowd control for MA's instead of just a weak AoE taunt.
