The playshift requirement that is checked every time you zone does not seem to take into account buffs, equipment etc. Some things 'break' when zoning while you reach the requirements, but your base stats are lower then the reqs. Examples:

Quantum Wings (somehow I seem to remember hearing that this got fixed though)

Gunner's Cap (situation is a bit different here: it can be equipped in social tab, but if you zone you have to re-quip to make it show again)
That's the only items that come to mind.
