Stayin Neutral through and through. Alternative N°2 4tw :)
Don't most org teams start with a 220 friend/orgmate + you and asking people on LFT nowadays? Seriously, an orgmate of mine used to make his own inf hard teams when he was tl5, filling spots and finding a 220 to pull. Just because you lack initiative to do the same does not make it easier to level as a Neutral. You have to ask the same people to join your teams.
Oh really? Care to explain this more? Sided people will still come out ahead in stats, and sided have the "convenience" of larger populations. You will get the exact same amount of teams that you can get now if you would actually try to put one together, and this only applies to Inf Missions. The rest of the PvM grind isn't side locked.
At one point there was a reason for picking side in the conflict, it varies per person so I'm not going to list them. I was referring to {The current power gap will be "Narrowed"} statement. I play Clan and Neutral characters and aside from small difference of token boards there isn't much a gap now as I see it. Now that almost nonexistent gap is going to be narrowed even more. I see it as most new players never needing to pick a true side in conflict and just stay neutral killing any part of the story that involves the war between Clan and Omni.
It is just a result.
You,claners, knew it,you attacked neutrals, well neutrals are attacking claners and not omnis, because omnis are helping neutrals. You shouldnīt be surprise if neutrals will choose omni side @ rk1. If I am wrong and you will find neutral who used clan appl. form then in my opinion he has clan alt and his "neutral" toon were only leecher tara items at omni bots, nothing more.

Lol... Your hillarious to say the least... I'm gonna assume your kidding or just extremely ignorant... Neutrals have been attacking Clan for the past 6 years I've played and hell attacked Omni too granted not as much but that kinda goes without saying where else would you leech when not allowed on Clan bots... Either you have no clue about NW or just play with your eyes shut... What do you expect we're not gonna attack neuts when they attack us? Lol gimme a break...

Obviously most level 200+ players won't change from Clan to Omni or Omni to Clan if given the chance, maybe a tiny percentage. If they want to give up their tokens just to refarm them and the necessary faction scores then they 'earn' their change.
It is unfair to allow Neutrals to pick a side in the conflict at any time they want when the sided players can't opt out of the conflict at all... however they can change to the opposing side before 200. I can't find any sense in this.
Doesn't add up. Never did. Any sided player should be able to become Neutral at any time. I suppose a case can be made for level 200+ sided players not being allowed to, but up to 200 you certainly should be able to opt out. Especially since Neuts can now do whatever the hell they want whenever the hell they want.
Any new alt that I roll will now remain Neutral until I have intentionally and blatantly abused the TL7 BS / VP system by joining the winning side and the other benefits (while enjoying my tokenless Neut neck items along the way) before eventually and certainly joining Clan where I will spend my VPs earned as a Neutral for my sided token board. There is little reason not to take advantage of this for an alt that will go to TL7. Oh, I am sure I will annoy several Neuts by doing this but I'll be doing exactly what many Neuts are inviting me to do by requesting (and relentlessly crying for) this change. Thanks and sorry, you'll get over it.
Neut token boards don't make sense but it's understandable considering the improvements to the sided boards. Anything else is too much and making less sense than what we already had in place.
Lol ignorant clanner. The majority of the large Neutral orgs on RK1 cut a deal with clan months ago.
I sorta agree, but after talking with Means it's clear why it's happening the way it is. Neutral has always been about an RP reason to pick a side later. That's exactly what the side change does. FC doesn't want people to be Neutral. They want the opposite.
This message is hidden because Escritores is on your ignore list.
I donīt know what he trolled again, but I can imagine it thanks to reaction on his post from neutral player at rk1.
editing:
High-level side change forms donīt mean that every 200+ neutral will change side, they wanted to be neutral from some reason and these forms are helping a few neutral players who changed their view and they donīt want reroll.
Well, this is all pretty obvious but thanks for pointing it out all the same because it clearly explains why the 200+ side change is unnecessary. Smells like catering to whiners and allowing them to have their cake and eat it too.
The token boards are fine but changing sides after 200 is going too far unless the intention is to eliminate Neutral as a 'faction' eventually.
If possible, I'd really like to see an explanation (plz!) as to why this decision was made in addition to the token boards because it doesn't make sense to offer both. I only recall seeing requests to have one or the other, not both. Thanks for that info, SultryVoltron, that makes sense on the surface but I'd really like to dig at least a little deeper to help me and others understand because there are some concerns that it brings up. I don't even have a Neut that I play actively but I can see how this could damage or frustrate the pure Neut community in the long run. I can see many Neut orgs being temporary homes for players from both Clan and Omni. That's not good for individual orgs or Neuts as a whole.
I'd also like to know why sided players can't become Neutral in light of this change (even pre-200).
Not demanding answers or anything like that, it's not a deal breaker for me. It's just that this is the most unusual change I have seen since Means has been in the driver's seat. I'd simply like to understand the logic behind offering both the token board and a post-200 sided application for Neuts only.
Reread last FWM. Does it say anything about a neut tokenboard?Quote:

Ok, let's just stop splitting hairs before it starts.
"However, the "gap" between the sided factions and neutrals in terms of individual character power has widened over the last few years with the addition of certain neck items. Neutrals who wish to remain Neutral will have the opportunity to obtain items that will narrow this gap to the previous reasonable levels." - Means from the most recent FWM.
I assumed he meant a token board / neck item but whatever, my point stands.
Mostly RP reasons, I suppose.
After "fighting for your side in the conflict" [yeah, right] for up to 220 levels, the whole "oh, but I'm totally neutral now, honest!" sounds a little unconvincing. Sure, you can switch sides completely, but even then you have to work from the bottom up to prove your conviction to your new side before you can enjoy all the benefits [token boards :p].
Funniest thing is Means said that (according to his vision) Neuts exist mainly of RP reasons in the game, yet with 200+ form he takes out the last of the decisions that has any connection to RPing, namely chosing a side before Neut TL7 advantages kick in, and replacing it with even more metagaming (ooo, we haven't seen nothing in the Neut Metagaming theatre yet!).
Maybe this is a blatant move to have better availability of side locked content (Inf, BS) for the players with most of the ppl not switching pre-220. But then again, maybe it is pure shortsightedness.
