alts - hypothetical question

If you have a second or third account, are those characters alts?

I doubt there's an official definition.

Personal opinion - regardless of how many accounts you have, the character(s) you are currently spending the most time on is/are your main(s). All others are alts.

by the "logic" of main and alts (coming from the UO days of "ill get my main")

main = most powerfull toon on an account

so if you have two accounts you have 2 mains

but I agree with hypos from my point of view

yeah first time I ever saw a reet say "ill get my main" (acutally it said "ill get my man" due to a typo at first) I laughed so hard I almost forgot to heal and use my specials... that reet almost killed me with a joke hehehe.

It was common in UO when you were listening to a smack talker to hear "meet me <insert his favorite gank spot> and ill get my main to kick your @ss". hehe

loved people saying that.
