It was a rainy day when lil' Heat first took his stumbling steps upon Rubi-ka, the midget had nothing but rags on him but he was determined never to give up. His way to world domination would take years but he would never let anything stop him, that was until the day a six feet tall super-hero appeared. Heat had finally found his nemesis. Soon his evil midget ways would be long gone and slowly he was dragged into darkness and obscurity because the world now saw him as tall, normal and compliant, everything he had worked so hard for gone in an instant. Michizure the hero became hailed as the savior and Heat began despise the world even more.

Why remove agent size on ruse? It's a thing the defines AO to me and many others, a thing that sets it apart from other mmo's in sheer personality and quirkiness. It's been part of AO for 15 years! Removing a personality core part like that for the sake of gameplay does not sit right with me.

Pretty sure they consider it an unfair advantage on pvp and size has been exploited by some to make them sort of invisible.

There's talk of making a social version, which would be nice for those of us that loved the look of it.

It has to do with the forth coming engine not being able to handle mesh resizing, and a few other things in AO that graphically a dx9 engine can't handle, once the dust has settled on 18.7 it will free up Mitchi and team to work on the 18.8+ engine on beta to get it right eg new textures and meshes etc.

Do you have a reference for that cause really can't believe that's the cause. Scaling is one of the very primitive things a graphics engine/GPU does.

I find that amazingly hard to believe as well.

why not bring back the ruse size but when entering combat the size auto adjust?

I was told it has to do with ranges and targeting.
I actually believe it because back when I was testing it, I discovered I could cast from farther away using Ruse 4 than when in normal form.

I miss being a midget. :/
