Br0ken vs Shattered Nano Crystals

I noticed a new item added in the .22 - .27 T/L patchnotes ... a Br0ken Nano crystal.

What is its purpose? I was hoping it had a shop value and was to replace the Shattered crystal, so I logged to check.
However, I still have my worthless Shattered crystals.

It appears that 18.7 will be coming to Live soon ... any ETA?

It seems I need to sell bags of nano crystals before they become worthless Shattered crystals.

edit: Even Weird Nano Crystals of programs that are being deleted, like Weird targeted augmentation cloud are Shattered and worthless.
