Okay. So I've recently updated the Ongoing Storylines thread and it got me thinking.
What was your favourite storyline you ever saw on Rubi-Ka?
Was it one of intruige and mystery, outright violence and bloodshed or something far darker?
I ask only because as Storyline Lead for ARK-Events I want to start planning for the future, and while I have a few things in mind, I'd like to know what you guys want, and what we can deem reasonable for the Rubi-Ka that we know and love.
Hmm tough one; so many fun times to choose from!
I'm going to have go with the whole story around Tinkerbots. At first she seemed like a fun, crazy disposable LTC who I could go on random shopping trips with and just have the biggest laughs with; but behind all that was an actual plot to be discovered and investigated – if you had the wits to discover it anyway!
I still laugh at how she reacted to me after I was reformed (again!).
That said i am a sucker for bloodshed, "area wide termination" i think was the quote you picked up on last time :p

I have never really been too big on RP, as in taken part in it. But I love the concept and in AO it used to always be quite visible(this is before my four year break starting 2009).
But I happened to be in Bor the other day and it seemed like something in the city blew up. Which I thought was quite awesome.
And quite some time ago, can't recall exactly when but before I took a break. Running through Rome Blue, if I recall, a bunch of escaped prisoners crossed my path while heading somewhere. I ended up following them for a bit and saw some of the RP going down.
For me anything would be awesome, like the Soulless attack on Bor and the aliens and so forth. Just make it visible again.
Though I never took part, it made the world feel a lot more alive.
I have the greatest respect for the guys making sure the RP happens, because I'm not sure how good I'd be at it. But I love coming across some random, even small and seemingly unimportant, events. I think if some of the events were a little more visible, in some form or manner, a lot more people would actually take part on some level, even if it's just as observers....
I can almost hear the music to that musical hehehehehe
