Important Notice: Selling Loot Rights on Mobs

It has been brought up that there is a new practice that while in a kill team on a particular mob another team would come up and want the loot on the mob. An agreement for credits or other goods is made and given to the kill team in order for the loot rights to be opened to the second team to loot the item off of.

For example:
Team A is in the Temple of the Three Winds and kills the Guardian of Tomorrow, Team B comes up wanting the uber backpiece off the mob inventory of the Guardian of Tomorrow. Team A or a member of Team A decides that they didn't need the item and will sell loot rights to Team B for so a certain amount of credits to open and close the inventory allowing Team B to loot from the mob.

While this is not against the rules it is officially not recognized by Funcom and unfortunately we cannot enforce any such deals between the teams when dealing with issues that arise from these transactions.
