Acknowledging Story Line Event Staff

I do want to acknowledge the recent efforts of the team responsible for "story line" events--there have been several GM controlled NPCs making themselves a lot more noticable in clan life lately (I assume the same is true for all the OT players out there).

Thing is, I've been told these folks may not even be Funcom employees, but ARKs--volunteers who are not compensated for their efforts. That these GM events have very little to do with the story line plot as we know it from the animated series seems to underscore that notion.

I know they can't respond to this thread, but I wanted to say thanks, and despite what happens with AO in the weeks and months to come, their efforts have added some enjoyment to an otherwise flagging gaming experience.

Whatever happens to AO in the weeks and months to come (and let's face it, it looks pretty bleak), I wanted the people who've been behind the scenes of these story telling events and characters to know that their efforts are appreciated.
