Why no tokens when I really really deserve them?
I just did 3 missions above my level - did 131 missions, I am 101. Each had 10+ red and orange mobs and several locked chests. I killed them all eventually, and opened everything etc. And yet, I gained no token awards =(
Had it been 3 or 4 mob missions I would have understood, yet these were small to medium sized and difficult. Have the rules changed? A friend of mine said you have LESS chance with more difficult missions and that I should stick to 50% difficulty. Does this mean the game assumes you are grouped and do not deserve a token? Anyone notice the chances changing or know the rules?
Haven't noticed this myself
I've found that in general I have a better chance at a token
with higher difficulty missions, especially in cases where I
don't in fact kill all the mobs. Killing just 20% of the mobs
on a 50% mission pretty much guarantees not getting
a token, IMO, but killing 20% in a 75% mission gives
me a fair chance, or so it seems, especially if the
mission is fairly large.
On the other hand I've never NOT gotten a token with
a 50%+ mission with all mobs killed so long as there was
at least 5 of them. It sounds to me like you are experiencing
some new and wonderful bug with the mission system.
However, I should say I've only done 3 missions since
the downtime on Thursday, and got tokens for 2. The
one I didn't get was a "snake" type mission with only
one mob, and the two I succeeded with were smallish
levels with around 10-15 mobs at around 60% difficulty;
in all three cases I cleared the levels and found the
objective.
