--Timeline--

Two weeks earlier: After several terrorist threats, Mrs Wright had moved secretly to No.8, to prevent any harm.

One week earlier: Mr and Mrs Wright agreed to part and go their own ways, as the fact they could not see each other for long periods of time was not working in their relationship. There was no drama or emotional incidents.

Saturday 27th, 20:00 RST: The killers break into Mrs Wright's apartment, No.8. They wait for Mrs Wright, leaving breadcrumbs after consuming various snacks.

22:30 RST: Newland Security Minister Agrestus Wright was in No.11, reading a book in privacy.

22:36 RST: Mirura contacts the Minister, and wishes to speak with him, concerning the false ChitChat news reports.

22:41 RST: Mirura arrives at No.11, and sits with the Minister. They are good friends, after Mr Wright aided Mirura several weeks earlier with an injured leg.

22:42 RST: Mrs Wright was informed by an anonymous contact, now presumed to be a ChitChat reporter, to make her way to No.11.

22:47 RST: Mrs Wright arrives at No.11, and mistakes the sight she sees, believing the false ChitChat reports, thinking that he had moved on too quickly. She leaves Mr Wright, and hurries off to No.8.

22:58 RST: Mrs Wright arrives in her appartment, unaware of the trap set.

23:00 RST: Time of death. Mrs Wright was killed by an, as of yet, unidentifiable weapon. A handwritten note was left in her mouth as the killers leave.

23:03 RST: Mirura finds a leet behind her and Mr Wright, the leet begins to make a comment. After a short conversation, it is confirmed that it is a ChitChat reporter in disguise. The reporter makes a comment about their story, stating "You two sell well" before leaving the area.

23:06 RST: Mirura leaves No.11, wishing to have some time alone after the supprising incident. Mr Wright and Mirura are unaware of Mrs Wright's death.

23:11 RST: Fawnspawn, a friend of Mrs Wright, arrives at No.8 to try and persuade her to think more clearly. She finds the body, contacting the Department of Investigations, and Mr Wright.

23:15 RST: Mr Wright remains in No.11 in a shocked state.

23:26 RST: The Department of Investigations arrive, and with permission from Mr Wright, enters No.8 to examine the crime scene. A division of DoI officers scour the surrounding area for su****ious individuals.

23:27 RST: DCI Hunt locates the note in Mrs Wright's mouth. It reads: "See Agrestus, I can make anyone believe anything, and take away everything you love. Watch your back, because I'll be waiting......"



Report: The timeline shows that Mrs Wright was killed before Mr Wright and Mirura left No.11. This makes it impossible for them to be the killers.

Several weeks earlier, Mr Wright had received various threats by a terrorist organisation, that they would kill his wife if he did not comply with their demands. Concerned with her safety, Mr Wright informed the Newland Milita, and Mrs Wright was located safely in Apartment No.8. Mr Wright had chosen to continue his duties, denying compliance with the terrorists, having the Milita on alert. A handwritten note was sent to Mr Wright by the terrorists, the handwriting matches the note found on Mrs Wright's body.

The same terrorist organisation attempted to assassinate the Minister when he refused to cooperate, but the DoI was present at the time, and they fired upon the officers. Killing two, wounding three.

From the evidence that has been gathered, It is suspected that the terrorist group has been working with, or in contact with ChitChat reporters and editors.

The terrorist group used the reports to their advantage, contacting the reporters to determine Mr Wright and Mirura's location, so that their plan could proceed to kill Mrs Wright, framing Mr Wright and Mirura for the death.

A full investigation is under way to locate the terrorists and ChitChat reporters. Omni-Pol will be contacted to ensure these individuals are arrested and sentenced for murder, several assaults on DoI officers, blackmail, and assasination attempts.

While Mr and Mrs Wright broke up a week earlier, Mr Wright is still shocked at the incident, and will be off duty for a couple of days. He has opted for memory deletion and therapy treatments so that he can continue his job as the Security Minsiter of Newland.

ChitChat issue 29 is advised to be ignored, as the corrupted article is related to this incident.

The ChitChat editors created Issue 28 in an attempt to "get back" at the DoI for warning about the upcoming issue. Upon noticing the correct issue, the Murder Report was updated sir. We do not "slack" in our duties.

We are aware that a ChitChat reporter was discovered hiding in No.11 at the time of the incident, and thus, it would only seem logical that they would publish a story on the incident in their next issue.

hmm, this "report" looks more and more like a cover-up from the ministers office.

On one side we have a story in a respected independent newspaper and on the other we have a report that looks like it have been dictated by the minister himself.

The only ppl that "respect" this kind of nonsense are ppl with no sense. WTB IRRK back!! This is not news, it's gossip, pure and simple. If you want gossip go talk to your friends. If you want news, don't in the Chit-Chat for it!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion ma'am. However, this report was not dictated by the minister. We were contacted by Fawnspawn shortly after she discovered the body, and we worked from there to publish a report from gathered evidence. The possible connections of this murder to a terrorist group responsible for numerous offences is the reason why this report has been made public.

We do not have jurisdiction to arrest anyone in Newland. That is the Newland Militia's job. We simply collect evidence, note down what we gather, and submit it to the required authorities for action to be taken.

There is one thing I find a bit odd in thhis report:

ICC DOI can pinpoint out the exact time of death but cannot identify the weapon. odd autopsy if you ask me.

We know it was an energy weapon of some sorts. What we do not know is the exact type used to kill her. Comparing energy signatures is currently under way to determine the weapon used.

The autopsy, weapon signature, and precise forensic results have arrived. The original time of death was predicted using information from her comm unit, and basic analysis devices on the scene. The exact time of death based on the autopsy results was 22:59 RST. Cause of death was a shot to the chest with a Barret M-00 Anti-Material Rifle. Death was instant. No other injuries located.

"Realpolitik"
Description: Suspected to be a rogue Omni-Tek employee, but fraudulent ID is possible. Current offences include four accounts of assault, five accounts of blackmail, one account of theft. No past offences. Su****ions of sabotage and dealing of illegal goods but not confirmed. Currently classed as a terrorist.

DNA Found: Door, hair strands, breadcrumbs, handwritten note, various pieces of furniture. DNA found is estimated to be recent, within 24 hours either way from the time of death.



"The Don"/"Axelo"
Description: Neutral, suspected to be part of the same terrorist organisation as "Realpolitik". No past or recent offences. Su****ions include terrorism, kidnapping, and assault but not confirmed, as very little records of him are found. Suspected terrorist.

DNA Found: Hair strands. DNA found is estimated to be recent, within 24 hours either way from the time of death.



Captain "Agrestus" Wright
Description: Newland Minister of Security. General of the Neutral organisation "Third Faction". No current offences. Past offences include refusing to cooperate with Omni-Pol officers. Past su****ions of assault on Omni-Pol officers and assisting a captured criminal but not confirmed.

DNA Found: Sofa, door, hair strands. DNA found is estimated to be within a week to two weeks older than the victims time of death.




DNA from Mrs Laurazuli Wright was discovered on various pieces of furniture, doors, and hair strands. Two other unique DNA patterns have been discovered on the breadcrumbs, furniture and hair strands, but do not exist on any database.
