Should Event Chars be Allowed to Kill Players?
(I'm using this as a temporary place, as the AO-B forums are currently being revised, and it is more public here)
The results as of this posting are:
Of course! - 66.67 %
If they give fair warning - 25.00 %
Only if attacked first - 8.33 %
No, never - 0.00 %
I chose "With fair warning"... simply because events chars attacking players out of the blue creates a lot of confusion and conflict. I would HATE to see Events get nerfed because of a few silly misunderstandings or upset players.
Considering Rubi-Ka as a planet at war with itself, it only makes sense for events to involve players being attacked. It makes the world more dynamic, and opens the door for people like ARK Events to do more types of things.
I voted "Yes, ofcourse"
But it depends... If the Event-chars are ARK's, sure. They should be able to attack you, but only if it's possible to kill them too. They shouldn't have 100k+ HP, 10k AC and so on, 'cus then there's no fun.
