Org Bot software that have been updated for merger

The following bots have been updated for the merger.

Budabot: http://budabot.com > read the forums for the patch info
Vhabot NextGen: http://vhabot.com > version .81 read the info on the download page
LLies Vhabot fork: https://bitbucket.org/Llie/llie_vhabot/overview

Please remember that all friends lists are gone, and each bot has its own way to resync friends list. Also Do not attempt to update rosters. Whois will not work until PORK is back in service.

If any other bot systems are updated, please list them as well.

My orgbot (Budabot) has be reset to an "R" number. How can I handle the renaming of the toon and keep my preferences?

Any help will be appreciated! I hate to have to go through all the bot setup again.

Note: Pork is working but your org id will change. That means updating the roster will be difficult because it will point to an invalid org number. You have to do a character lookup on pork and copy the new org id... if there are any edits on your databases, you have to change them.

As of this post only the latest RC (3.0_RC5_build1302270843) has the broken roster module. The next older build is fine, as is the latest git pull.

For people who patched their bots manually the fix is actually to unpatch everything but BotRunner.php

Are you saying that if I have rc5-1302270843 running I should go back to prior build? If so, what is that build number? Budabot site has rc5-*****0843 as current build.

You can either patch it up by following the instructions here, or grab the latest master from the Github page (click the ZIP button).

I see that 'these instructions' are a set of php editing instructions ...

I tried clicking on the ZIP button on the 2nd link and it wanted to send me a zip of the whole github repository ... that did not sound correct.

I may have to wait for a new RC5 build as i don't have a php editor.

PHP is text-based. Notepad works fine. :)

I'm running that version right now. The couple extra files are harmless.

EDIT. Double-check that it says 'Branch: Master.' Not sure why it wouldn't, but that is the one you want.

Pretty much any programming language can be written in notepad (although for free, easy speedy editing, I prefer notepad++, it has basic nice stuff), you just need a compiler ... but PHP is an interpreted language, so you don't need a compiler, just the php interpreter.

Just use the zip file on the git hub website. It will be the whole repository, it will be the bot as it is that very second on git hub. It is fully functional with orgs right now.
